Summary: Acquire the skills and knowledge to gain a career in community and/or residential aged care facilities. Learn to provide personal care to people who may require support due to ageing or disability. Be trained in safety procedures and the legal and ethical framework of this sector.

Requirements: Completion of Australian Year 10 or equivalent and IELTS 5.0 or equivalent. 

Duration: 20 weeks + 6 weeks of holidays

Summary: This course will enhance your knowledge and skills required to further your career in Aged Service, either in residential, home or community based environments. Assist the elderly by facilitating individualised plans to support their needs. Gain the experience to provide services to older people with complex needs. Learn to work effectively in an Aged Service setting with culturally diverse clients and co-workers.
